10-year-old boy saved from Thai artillery blasts

A young boy was seriously injured in his left hip during clashes on the Cambodia-Thailand border in Ta Moan Thom temple district.

The boy underwent emergency surgery and was treated in intensive care at Jayavarman VII Hospital in Siem Reap. He is currently in good mental condition, however further surgery is necessary.

The murderous border clashes took place between the two countries from July 24-28, 2025. A ceasefire was then concluded on July 29, leaving many injuries and population displacement.
