Cambodia and Bulgaria Discuss Cultural Documentary Collaboration

A productive meeting took place in Sofia between Cambodian representatives and Ms. Billyana Trayanova, producer at Art Winner Company, to explore potential collaboration on a documentary film project.

Ms. Trayanova expressed her company’s interest in producing a multi-episode documentary series highlighting Cambodia’s rich culture, tourism, traditions, and especially the iconic Water Festival.

In response, Cambodian representatives welcomed the initiative and pledged support in coordinating and facilitating the project. It was noted that formal cooperation would proceed following an official letter of request from Ms. Trayanova detailing the project’s objectives and scope.

To assist in the planning phase, a copy of the Cambodia Tourism Guidebook 2024, published by the Ministry of Tourism, was presented to Ms. Trayanova, offering insight into key destinations suitable for filming.

The meeting concluded in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reinforcing the growing cultural ties between Cambodia and Bulgaria.
