Cambodia Expects Bulgaria to Become a New Gateway for Exporting Goods to Europe [Video Inside]

The Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria has revealed that at the end of October 2025, Mr. Maxim Behar, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of a leading communications company, will pay his first official working visit to Cambodia for six days. The visit aims to strengthen connections and establish business and tourism cooperation between the two countries. It also presents an important opportunity for Cambodia to expand its export markets to the European Union.

H.E. Chea Chanboribo, Cambodian Ambassador to Bulgaria, stated that from October 19 to 24, 2025, Mr. Maxim Behar — President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of M3 Communications Group — will officially visit Cambodia, organized by the Cambodian Embassy in Bulgaria.

According to the Ambassador, during his visit, Mr. Behar will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of several Cambodian ministries, institutions, and private sector representatives to explore opportunities and strengthen mutual relations between Cambodia and Bulgaria.

Ambassador Chea Chanboribo emphasized that the main purpose of this mission is to foster and expand commercial and tourism cooperation between the two nations, as the current bilateral trade volume remains relatively small. He further expressed confidence that this visit will generate significant economic benefits for Cambodia, particularly by opening new trade channels for Cambodian exports to European markets.

It should be noted that Mr. Maxim Behar is a prominent Bulgarian businessman of Jewish descent, widely recognized for his influence and leadership. He serves as the CEO and Chairman of M3 Communications Group, Inc., a major public relations and communications firm; Chairman of the Board of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE); and Chairman of the World Communication Forum Association in Davos.
