Cambodia Reaffirms Peaceful, Law-Based Approach to Border Issue

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has reaffirmed that the Royal Government of Cambodia remains firmly committed to resolving the Cambodia-Thailand border issue through peaceful means, in accordance with technical principles and international law.
In a special statement this evening regarding government measures to address the impacts of the border conflict, the Premier emphasised that Cambodia prioritises peace and adheres to international treaties, conventions, and bilateral agreements between the two countries.
He expressed deep appreciation for the strong public support shown nationwide, including donations of funds, food, and essential supplies for frontline soldiers, police forces, and displaced citizens.
The Prime Minister praised the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, and national unity demonstrated by the Cambodian people during this challenging period.
“This is the time for Cambodia to further strengthen national unity and solidarity,” Samdech Thipadei said, expressing confidence that with collective efforts across all sectors, the nation will overcome current difficulties and rebuild the country with greater resilience and strength.
