HUNDREDS OF SCHOOLS, HEALTH CENTERS IN BORDER REMAIN CLOSED DAYS AFTER CAM-THAI CEASEFIRE

December 30, 2025 — As of 6:00 PM on December 29, 2025, in Banteay Meanchey Province, 330 schools (246 public and 84 private), four hospitals and health centers, and several district- and commune-level administrative offices remain suspended, while 15 other hospitals and health centers have resumed operations. Meanwhile, in Preah Vihear Province, 61 schools and 14 hospitals or health centers remain suspended, while one district-level administration office and six commune-level administrations have resumed operations.
