AKP Phnom Penh, January 24, 2025 --
"Crystal Symphony" cruise ship carrying 427 tourists of 28 different nationalities, 212 of whom are women, is paying a day-long visit to Cambodia.
The tourist ship of 238.01 metres long, 30.20 metres wide and 7.6 metres deep, sailing under the flag of Bahamas, docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port this morning, said an immigration officer.
Most of the tourists are American (274), he said, pointing out that 26 of them continued their trip to Siem Reap cultural province to visit Angkor temples, while the rest visited cultural resorts, beaches and other tourist attractions in the Preah Sihanouk coastal province.

Coming from Thailand, the cruise ship with 487 crewmembers of 48 different nationalities, of them 120 are women, will depart for Vietnam this evening, he added.
More and more tourism vessels with thousands of multinational tourists and crewmembers on board visited Cambodia via the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
Tourism is a priority sector in promoting Cambodia’s macroeconomic growth and social development and is expected to take up the biggest part in the country's GDP in the near future.
