Cambodia demands that the Thai side immediately cease the intentional dissemination of false information. This disinformation campaign is clearly designed to divert international attention from Thailand’s violations of international law by falsely portraying Cambodia as an aggressor. Such actions serve merely as a pretext to escalate tensions and justify Thailand’s ongoing aggression against the legitimate sovereign territory of Cambodia.

Time and again, the Thai military has employed deceptive tactics to conceal its violations of Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, in blatant disregard of established international legal frameworks. The Thai military’s systemic aggression against Cambodia—characterized by the deployment of heavy weaponry, including fighter jets, naval warships, heavy artillery, cluster munitions, toxic gas, and various advanced drone systems—constitutes a direct assault on innocent civilians as well as sites of world cultural heritage. Such conduct identifies Thailand as a state that undermines peace and security, not only between Cambodia and Thailand but across the entire region, in pursuit of expansionist ambitions and aggression against smaller and weaker nations.

Cambodia demands that the Thai military immediately cease its campaign of systematic misinformation and distortion. The path toward stability requires an immediate cessation of hostilities, strict adherence to the ceasefire, and the full re-implementation of the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand. Thai leadership must demonstrate sincerity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to international law through responsible actions, rather than hollow rhetoric and falsehoods.

In this regard, Cambodia calls upon the international community to strongly condemn Thailand’s violations of the Joint Declaration, as well as its repeated war crimes and unlawful activities, and demands that Thailand take full responsibility for these brazen violations. Cambodia urges Thailand to immediately halt all hostile actions, withdraw its forces from Cambodian sovereign territory, and refrain from any acts of incursion or aggression that threaten peace and stability throughout the region.

It must also be emphasized that, at present, the heroic Cambodian Army and National Police forces will continue to stand strong, brave, and steadfast in the face of aggression. They remain fully vigilant and prepared to exercise Cambodia’s inherent right to self-defence, as enshrined in international legal instruments, in the fulfillment of their duty to defend and protect—at all costs—the territorial integrity of Cambodia and the safety of its people.
