PRESS RELEASE: the results of the Extraordinary meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) held in Malaysia

The Ministry of National Defence would like to inform the public and both domestic and international media about the results of the Extraordinary meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) held in Malaysia. The meeting was co-chaired by His Excellency General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and His Excellency Nattaphon Nakphanit, Deputy Minister of National Defense Kingdom of Thailand. The atmosphere of the meeting was constructive and positive, resulting in fruitful outcomes. Cambodia and Thailand agreed on the terms of the ceasefire arrangement, and mechanism for the implementation of the ceasefire arrangement. Both sides also agreed to adopt the minutes of the extraordinary meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) and issued a joint statement.
