ODDAR MEANCHEY--Tamoan Senchey Primary School suffered further severe damage during the second round of border fighting on December 8, leaving parts of it beyond repair. The school was repeatedly hit by rockets and artillery shells.
Inside the compound, bomb craters were visible across the grounds, while fragments of mortar shells lay scattered among the rubble. Even temporary classrooms were damaged, and a new school building, still under construction, was also partially destroyed.
