The Deliberate Destruction of Cambodia’s Sacred Preah Vihear Temple

In the mere blink of an eye, the sacred Cambodian temple of Preah Vihear, built and refined over hundreds of years, is reduced to rubble by shelling from Thailand’s rapacious military. This was a deliberate knife into the heart of the Khmer psyche, to destroy a unique symbol of Cambodia’s heritage and culture. There is no excuse for this egregious act.
