នៅថ្ងៃទី៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ វេលាម៉ោង ១២:៣៣នាទី យោធាថៃបានបើកការបាញ់ប្រហារ ដោយមិនរើសគោលដៅ និងបានប្រើប្រាស់កាំភ្លើងធំ១០៥មម និង១៥៥មម បាញ់ចូលទីប្រជុំជនដែលមានប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស៊ីវិលរស់នៅយ៉ាងកំរោល ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងឃុំថ្មដា ស្រុកវាលវែង ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់។

Please be informed about the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border regarding the Thai military forces’ initiated attack on Cambodia's sovereignty in the 5th Military Region, Thmar Da commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province:

On December 9, 2025, at 12:33 PM, the Thai military forces launched an attack using 105mm and 155mm artillery shells, indiscriminately and brutally targeting civilian residential areas in Thmar Da commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province.

The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia condemns in the strongest possible terms the inhumane and brutal acts undertaken by the Thai side. Such action clearly is a grave breach of the Ceasefire Agreement and the Joint Declaration between Cambodia and Thailand, signed by both parties on October 26, 2025, with the auspicious witness of the U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister, H.E. Anwar Ibrahim, in his capacity as the ASEAN rotating Chair.
