Tourism Festival "BON PHNOM" to be Held Next Weekend at Kirirom National Park

A tourism festival called "BON PHNOM" will be held on Feb. 15-16 at Preah Suramarit-Kossamak National Park, known as Kirirom National Park, located in Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province.

According to its online source, the Tourism, Music Arts, and Sports Festival without Plastic, "BON PHNOM" will bring various excited programmes, sport challenges, and Khmer foods along with festive decorations along 4 kilometres of main road on top of Kirirom National Park, from Neak Poan Roundabout to Former Palace, from 8:00 am – 2:00 am.

The public has free access to the forthcoming event, organised with an aim to boost local tourism, preserve national culture as well as protect the environment.

"BON PHNOM" Festival is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ministry of Environmnet, the Union Youth Federations of Cambodia, and the Kampong Speu provincial administration.  By C. Nika
