200 MONKS PARTICIPATE IN ALMSGIVING CEREMONY FOR MEAK BOCHEA DAY

February 2, 2026 – On February 2, 2026, 200 monks residing at Kol Tor Teung Pagoda participated in an almsgiving ceremony (Rob Bat) to mark Meak Bochea Day.

This year, Meak Bochea Day falls on Monday, February 2. Pagodas across Cambodia have prepared offerings of flowers, candles, and other sacred items. As the day unfolded, the sounds of Dhamma chanting resonated through the air, with Buddhists nationwide joining in the solemn observance of this important religious occasion.
